Abilium The Agency LLC ("Abilium," "we," "us," or "our") provides Abilium Growth Engine, a connected analytics and account-management service available to authorized Abilium clients. Growth Engine helps clients understand commerce and marketing performance, develop recommendations, and carry out approved changes in connected accounts.

This Privacy Policy explains how we access, collect, use, store, and share information through Growth Engine and related support communications.

Information We Collect

Connected account information. When a client authorizes a connection, we access information permitted by that connection and needed for enabled features. Depending on the platform, this may include:

  • Shopify store, product, variant, inventory, order, customer, and sales information. Customer and order information may include personal information when permitted and needed for the requested service.
  • Google Ads account identifiers, campaigns, budgets, bidding settings, ads, keywords, search terms, conversions, and performance information.
  • Google Analytics property, audience, traffic, acquisition, conversion, and page-performance information.
  • Google Merchant Center account, product-feed, product-status, and diagnostic information.
  • Klaviyo and Meta Ads account, campaign, audience, engagement, and performance information available through enabled integrations.

Connection and technical information. We process account and connection identifiers, authorization credentials and permissions, service logs, error records, and other technical information needed to operate and secure Growth Engine.

Instructions and action records. We may retain requests, proposed changes, approvals, affected account and resource identifiers, previous and requested values where available, timestamps, and execution results to support accountability, troubleshooting, and service delivery.

Communications. We collect information supplied when clients request assistance, report an issue, or contact us about their data.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide reports, performance analysis, recommendations, and other requested Growth Engine features.
  • Prepare and execute explicitly approved changes in connected accounts.
  • Authenticate users and connections and enforce account permissions.
  • Maintain action records, investigate errors, and support clients.
  • Protect the service and connected accounts from unauthorized activity.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Read and Write Access

Growth Engine supports both reading connected data and performing supported write actions. Write access is limited by the connected platform's permissions, the client's account access, and the features enabled for that connection.

Supported actions may include Google Ads campaign, budget, bidding, status, or keyword changes and Shopify product-tag changes. Other changes are available only when the relevant integration and permissions support them.

Connecting an account does not, by itself, approve every possible change. Growth Engine requires explicit approval from an authorized user before executing a change to advertising budgets or bid targets, and before any change that removes or overwrites existing Shopify product tags. Adding a product tag executes on request, because it is additive and can be undone by removing the tag again. Changes can affect advertising spend, campaign delivery, or live store behavior. We process the instructions, approvals, and resulting platform responses needed to carry out and document those actions.

Data Sharing and AI Processing

We do not sell personal information.

We share information with service providers needed to operate Growth Engine, such as hosting, database, security, and AI service providers, to the extent needed for the requested service and subject to applicable contractual and platform requirements.

When a client uses Growth Engine through an AI interface, relevant connected-account information, instructions, and results may be processed by the AI provider to generate responses or support requested actions. We limit information sent to what is needed for the requested feature. The client's separate use of that AI platform is also governed by its terms, privacy policy, and applicable account settings.

We send approved changes and required information to the connected platform so that it can execute the requested action. Information and results may also be made available to users authorized by the client and Abilium personnel authorized to provide the service, subject to applicable data-access restrictions.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse, protect security, or protect legal rights, consistent with applicable law and platform requirements.

Google User Data

We access and use Google user data to provide the connected features described in this policy, including analytics and approved Google Ads account-management actions. Growth Engine's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

We do not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. We do not sell Google user data or use it for unrelated advertising. Sharing and human access are limited to what the applicable Google policies permit.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Growth Engine authorization credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorized users and personnel who need it to provide or protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and action records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed.

Clients may request disconnection and deletion of information processed by Growth Engine. We will delete or de-identify information as appropriate, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate retention needs. Information in backups may remain until those backups expire under the applicable retention process.

Disconnecting Growth Engine does not reverse changes already applied to a connected platform or delete information held independently by that platform or an AI provider. Requests concerning those copies may also need to be directed to the relevant provider.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Authorized clients may revoke platform permissions, disconnect an integration, or contact us to stop Growth Engine access. Revocation prevents future access through the revoked authorization; any separate connection or agency account access must also be revoked or disabled if the client wants all access to end.

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or restrict certain uses of their personal information. Submit requests to hello@abiliumtheagency.com. We may need to verify identity and authority before completing a request.

For customer data processed on behalf of a merchant, we may refer or coordinate the request with that merchant, which controls the underlying customer relationship. Where applicable law provides a right to appeal our response, an appeal may be submitted to the same email address.

Shopify Data and Privacy Requests

Growth Engine supports Shopify's required privacy compliance processes, including customer data access and deletion requests and store-data deletion requirements. Shopify merchants, customers, and authorized representatives may contact us at hello@abiliumtheagency.com about Shopify data processed through Growth Engine. We respond in accordance with applicable law and our obligations to Shopify and our clients.

Third-Party Services

Connected platforms and AI interfaces have their own privacy policies and terms. Those policies govern information they process independently of Abilium. Clients should review the policies and account settings of services they connect or use with Growth Engine.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated version and revise the date above. When required, we will notify users and obtain consent before introducing a new use of connected information.
